Douglas Fir from the San Juan Islands, is denser than most fir grown on the mainland. And our rough sawn beams and posts (from traditional 5 foot diameter circular saw) provide a beautiful look that is genuinely San Juan

Cedar or Doug Fir Siding

Typically 1x10 or 1x8, rough sawn, complemented with battens that are 1x3 or 1x4.

Our saw allows for custom cutting of large logs, especially to make long beams, but we also produce dimensional lumber at full width (for example full 2” boards rather than nominal 2” available in umber yards that measures 1 1/2”.
